The pilots looked very strong today.
I'm happy about that

I thought Angie and Danny were done today, especially when they put Angie in the car for the off-road racing leg! They were bailed out a few times by their network.
Was hilarious watching the bubble soccer, but again I thought Angie would break a leg or something. She is fortunate that Danny is smart, especially on navigation.

I swear every time someone got taken out and fell down I laughed like it was the first time I had seen that happen. Still funny after 20 times or more.

Eh, Derek and Shelisa did a lot better than I thought they would...and the only reason Angie and Danny are still in it is that her alliance took pity on her and the soccer players eased up.
Though, that bubble soccer looks like a lot of fun!

I have watched this and TARC for several seasons now, and I still don't understand how teams can be so bad navigationally speaking. You are going on a race-show...maybe learning how to read a map would be something worth the time to learn?
While Amber may consider them both "stubborn and headstrong"...Vinny was one hell of a d*** this episode.

Yeah that guy is something else. Talking about making her father proud with the welding challenge, but I think her father might have more to say about all the crap he says to his daughter. Massive dickhead. "Her problems are all internal"

I picked them for being heath professionals, as I used to be one. Never thought one could be such a d1ck. This is definitely not going to go well for him from his coworkers…..

That was a pretty good episode. Though this is pretty much the Ricky & Cesar show.
I liked that....tennis/ping pong challenge. That looks like a fun game. Could tell that the players were holding back a lot, though.
I'm not sure why folks thought that the trap build would be faster/easier than the seaweed challenge. The only team that would have struggled with seaweed over trap would have been Angie & Danny, I think. The rest would have done it easily enough.
I had thought that when they forgot, TWICE, the corners that they were going to be out. Then when they got stuck, I thought they were going to be out. Glad that Rod and Leticia are still in it.

"We are not unsavvy with a little bit of blood."
This week, the teams travel to Barbados and everyone keeps getting lost even though it's a tiny island.
Angie & Danny lose their crew in the follow car, and have to wait to get reunited causing them to fall to the back of the pack, so they're going home. Juan & Shane choose the physical side of the Detour and it pays off, jumping from last to second.
- Ricky & César (win $7,500 each)
- Juan & Shane
- Amber & Vinny
- Yvonne & Melissa
- Rod & Leticia
- Angie & Danny
- Sunny & Bizzy
- Derek & Shelisa
- Kishori & Karishma
- Michelle & Sean
- Anthony & Bailey
- Chris & Mary
- Maya & Rohan
- EldrickOnIce: Juan & Shane / Chris & Mary
- Yeah_Baby: Sunny & Bizzy / Derek & Shelisa
- getbak: Anthony & Bailey / Kishori & Karishma
- Superflyer: Rod & Leticia / Maya & Rohan
- trackercowe: Ricky & Cesar / Angie & Danny
- surferguy: Yvonne & Mellisa / Ricky & Cesar
- Hockey: Amber & Vinny / Rod & Letica
- Fuzz: Michelle & Sean / Yvonne & Mellisa
- WhiteTiger: Derek & Shelisa / Sunny & Bizzy
- Amethyst: Maya & Rohan / Michelle & Sean
- csnarpy: Chris & Mary / Amber & Vinny
- Russic: Kishori & Karishma / Anthony & Bailey
- Cheese: Angie & Danny / Juan & Shane
Next week, the race continues in the Domincan Republic.

ahhhhh, feel bad for Angie and Danny, my inner geek was really pulling for them, they did far better than I anticipated and a dumb rule caught them or Rod and Leticia were done.
Was laughing my arse off at the teams driving in a monsoon with the roof off their mini car.
Ricky & César are simply dominating, they are the only ones that can beat themselves. Juan and Shane may be their only competition, but they seem to be directionally challenged at times.

Yeah, sucks to lose the way they did. But they lasted WAY longer than I assumed they would.
Next week's episode looks like a good one...

I'm surprised they didn't have some sort of GPS in the vehicles in case they got separated. It felt like they waited quite a long time for the crew to arrive.

No question this will be their downfall, whenever it comes.

Yeah, I was thinking about this too. Kinda felt like a double whammy. They lost the crew and then did the crew themselves get lost? Also what was the range on those walkies? Shouldn't they still have been able to reach the crew shortly after?
You have to wonder BTS if production didn't just tell the crew to hold pack until the other teams caught up....

Is there somewhere things like that are posted?
Like can we find out exactly how long they were held up?

The producers keep that sort of thing a tightly guarded secret, but the teams usually do exit interviews with some media outlets that cover reality tv and sometimes spill some secrets.
In this interview, they say they were held up about 45 minutes: https://parade.com/tv/the-amazing-ra...ated-interview
Also, their crew never actually arrived, they were eventually allowed to continue with a spare crew that was there. What's weird is the crews all had local drivers, so they shouldn't have been the ones getting lost. Barbados is a pretty small island. You can drive from the northern tip of the island to the southern tip in less than an hour. It's rather amazing that a local driver was unable to get from one part of the island to another in 45 minutes.

That is ridiculous. Totally unfair. There must be more to this, somehow.

Ya that makes zero sense to me. They knew where the team was headed, obviously had GPS... 45 minutes? Just have one of the other teams shoot that awesome b-roll of them mending wire.
I feel like this season has a disproportionate number of damn fools mixed with one team who has a massive language/proper teamwork one-two punch. Admittedly it is funny to watch Amber mentally break-up with Vinny while he has no idea what's going on.
