Jays are also getting City Connect jerseys this season at some point.

I think they announced they're coming out May 29th. The Mets new City Connects look fantastic. Again, the City Connects are the best jersey's in pro sports. No lazy retro nonsense - it's forward looking an innovative.

They are mostly a breath of fresh air, but some are not great. I really like the San Diego ones, perfect SoCal vibe. Hope the Jays don't push the "6" like the Raptors, though I think it will be a more Canada vibe than Toronto.

But miss the power blues. I think it would look great tonight vs the Padres pinstripes.

Padres will wear their camos tomorrow as they do every Sunday.

Yeah, most of the uniforms are a hit though. As for Toronto's, I don't want the cliche thing they can go to which is a Canada vibe (ie: red). I think a Jays PR spokesperson may have dropped a hint when she was talking about the brick behind the home plate. She said they were looking to different colour brick and said "we're no a red team", and they chose grey. So that's a positive because the easiest colour for the city connect would be red because somehow that represents Canada. But seemingly there may be some grey to it. I hope there's a vibrant colour too, like an orange or a pink. Chalk it up as Toronto fall colours when selling, but it would be different.

Yup, hope they do something unique, it even gray as that would be a flashback to the non-Blue Jays of the 2000s. A flash of color would be great.

They have to keep Swanson in to work it out. Undoubtedly he's off because of the unplanned issue at the start of the year. So he's still getting ready. Not sure why they're bringing him under bad circumstances though.

Yeah, I would assume it's barely more than waivers.

But on the flip side - the fact they have 13 pitchers they want more than him is a good sign.
