Nah, I don't think it matters 8 vs 9 tbh. Plus losing tonight, the last game of the year in front of Flames fans against SJ sounds fugly.
Wolf has never had a S****ot, would be a nice set up for next season with one under the belt today. Hope I haven't jinexed that, but I don't believe in jinxing in the first place.

The game would probably be close if the Flames had played with an empty net right from the opening whistle. They might have more than 5 goals by now, and the Sharks wouldn't have 10 shots.

Gotta say, I'm enjoying this game. Several players hitting milestones. Winning the game in a laugher. Ending the season on a high note is a good thing. I think there are a few young pieces to build around. Add in a high draft pick this year, and the other talent coming through the system...I'm betting this team is in the playoffs again in 3 seasons.

Okay, 9th overall it is. I like Scott Wheeler, so I think the Flames should be able to get a great player because of how Wheeler ranks the top 10 players.

Ironically, that was the game where the team was distracted thinking Markstrom was getting traded that night.

Somehow, San Jose beat Seattle twice this season. That second loss is keeping the Kraken in 8th.

I think it's going to take at least 6 years, they don't have 1st line, 1st pairing defense prospect in the pipeline
Players like Backlund, Coleman, Kadri are going to start regressing soon, in all honesty I see the team getting worse before the even start to move in the right direction
