I like the new PP setup with Huberdeau and Kuzmenko playing catch while in the 2 corners behind the net.
The Wild do that with Zuccarello and Kaprizov, and are really successful with it. Either can make a pass suddenly into the slot or back to the point, but both are good at trying a quick tuck into the net if the goalie bites on a fake return pass.

How that ends up offsetting is silly to me.
Kempe with a dirty and unnecessary play, Pachal is allowed to respond as far as I'm concerned. 4 for Kempe and 2 for Pachal would have been right IMO.

I wish more Flame forwards would take the puck to the net hard like Pospisl does.

Both Kelly and Rick oblivious to the wicked slash on Andersson by Byfield.

It's an improvement over the usual standard of officiating, which is to let the initial foul go and penalize the other player for retaliating.

‘Taking the law into your own hands’ is what my teachers used to call it when they punished kids for defending themselves. It's not about breaking the rules, it's about daring to usurp the prerogatives of the ruling class.

Well that was an alright period. Pachal was a great pickup. Andersson ending the season on a high note, looking more like himself. Always nice to see Huby shooting. Pospisil is awesome.

			Apropos of nothing…
For most of this season, nhl.com was without the feature that shows a diagram of the rink with the numbers of the players currently on the ice. That was the only good thing about their ‘gamecenter’ setup.

Now they have put the diagram back, and we see why it was gone so long. It took all those months to program a brilliant new feature:

Animated Zambonis cleaning the diagram during intermission.

 I wish I were kidding.

The kings just become dinks when they play the flames. Usually it’s Doughty, now Kempe. That little pretty boy should stay out of the rough stuff with the flames if he wants to be healthy for the playoffs. Flames may not have a goon but we can play dirty right back and have nothing to lose.
