"Judge Sauer has instructed the Sheriff's Department to go to Ms. Hilton's residence, pick her up and bring her here. That is happening now," Parachini told reporters outside the courthouse.
Hilton appeared to be in handcuffs when she was placed into a black-and-white patrol car, which sped away from her home with lights flashing as news helicopters followed.

Geez, I love the picture of her crying. Give me a break.
The thing that gets me, she got caught driving on a suspended license and was given a warning. Then she goes out and does it again.
Everything that has happened to her is because of her own actions, and her refusal to accept reponsibility. Had she not been famous I'm sure the first cop would not have been so nice as to just have given a warning.

By releasing her, the Sheriff has turned what was pretty much a here-and-gone story into a focussed and polarizing commentary on the fairness American judicial system.
It wasn't important before but now it is . . . . even if she was being treated in a normal manner before, the public lust for blood will probably prevail.
Some surprisingly deep commentary from Hollywood gliterati in this column:
http://www.latimes.com/entertainment...dlines-entnews
And Paris looks pretty busted up in the back of the police car.
http://www.latimes.com/media/alterna...6/30383054.jpg
Yet the New York Post says there were plans for big celebratory parties for the weekend at the mansion jailhouse.

Maybe the jail's overcrowding caused the jail not to be able to accomodate a suicide watch. Jail's generally don't have a a huge staff when it comes to psychiatric problems; prisons do, this is not a prison though...

This isnt a case of overcrowding, its already been publized at length about the special "celebrity" wing of this particular jail where Hilton is staying. It is segregated from the rest of the normals and contains 12 double occupancy "rooms". This isnt a case of overcrowding

She has just been thrown back in jail.
Left the courtroom yelling and screaming at the judge that "its not fair".
Yelled for her mom. Started crying.

Cue in psychiatrist who will state she will have a nervous breakdown and house arrest would be the best option

Energy 101.5 just said it's on CNN right now. CNN's website is still "Breaking News" of the 3 years for a shotgun blast to the back while the preacher was sleeping... I'm sure Paris is more important than murder, so that should be changed soon.
The next song Energy played after the news... "Big Girls Don't Cry" - Fergie.

It's hard to love these people.
Of course, when she gets out in 18 days, she'll be a lesbian who knows how to shiv someone and how has that helped society?

From the linked CNN article:
Quote:
"My message to those who don't like celebrities is that punishing celebrities more than the average American is not justice," Baca said.
|
Is it justice if celebrities are punished much less than the average American? Would Jane Q. Public have received the same treatment as Paris Hilton?

She needs to rot. Perhaps be the target of assassination.
I am beyond disgusted when I hear young girls say "Oh my god! I want to be just like Paris!"
A nervous breakdown? Crying? Oh my god, watch me cry you a river. Maybe you shouldn't have endangered the lives of hundreds of people by driving drunk. And then doing it again. Planning a party while in jail? It's obvious that the release was pre-orchestrated. Doesn't say much about the judicial system.
Other daughters of rich people never make the front page as much as Hilton does. Many of them are prettier (Ivanka Trump for instance), but yet manage to keep their panties on long enough to be respectable and a contributing member to society.

Ahh, this is good news.
Good to know that I won't be able to claim exemption from jail time based solely on my stunningly good looks.
Who told Paris she even had the looks to try that defence anyways?
