Not sure if it’s the uniforms but Gausman seems to have a bigger paunch then he’s ever had.

Is it? The single replay they showed wasn’t that clear. And that was the Jays batting. Not exactly related. Gausman didn’t do his thing.

Truth is it's a long season and for the team to go anywhere the guys at the top of the lineup are going to have to get it going to carry the team. Mustache man isn't going to carry them to anything.

First game I’ve had a chance to sit down and watch haha.
There are going to be bad pitching performances and that Yankees middle order is scary by man the Jays lack of hitting is really concerning. A few positives in the lineup but too many black holes. Vladdy is still swinging at junk, Vogelbach on the team is a joke, and the bottom third of the lineup are barely replacement level batters.

So bad with RISP. They have to figure this out or the team is going nowhere. It is also just horribly frustrating to watch as a fan.
Really concerned about Vladdy. His swing looks weak and his plate discipline is as bad as last year. I thought that would be one area that would be relatively easy to clean up but he just looks lost on off speed pitches.
Vladdy not panning out to be a top power hitter has killed this version of the Jays. Reminds me of Bennett. Him not becoming the #1 centre he was drafted to be killed any chance of the previous Flames era being a contending team.

This game their batting hasn't looked terrible. It's what an average game should be for a good team.

After seeing Vogelbach get into that run down, followed up with Kirk, I think the Jays have the heaviest lineup in the league.
