Trouba plays for the NYR, they have different rules than the Calgary Flames.

No they don't. Pospisil won't be suspended for this play.

the guys on Fan960 made a good comparison of Pospisil to Nazem Kadri's early career. YouTube has a bunch of highlights of Kadri walking the line or stepping over it, kicked out of games, suspensions, etc. I think in the long run, Pospisil will help the Flames win more games than cost them games with penalties or suspensions. Flames need more players with jam like they are getting form Pospisil

Big zero points yay I guess

I agree with this about calming down. He made some good saves, but in general he is very busy

He really put himself out of position on the 4th goal, chasing a puck that was not on net and into traffic. When he didn’t get it, it popped out where he was out of position and couldn’t do anything about it

Wolf faced a lot of shots. A lot of the xGA came from shots from high danger areas that weren’t particularly difficult otherwise

Solid game could have been exceptional but for a couple of overplays

There is no chance that he won't be suspended.

A hearing should have been announced by now if he was going to be. When he was suspended after the Seattle game, the hearing was announced the next morning and the Flames had a two day break.

Did anybody hear an explanation as to why Zary was a healthy scratch?

Basically said there are no "free" games in the NHL. Just because someone is a rookie doesn't mean they should get a pass or what he said again a "free" game. Said to look at a guy like Weegar as an example, as he plays every game like it's his last.

Not a fan of his message considering a guy like Huberdeau had many "free" games for the first half of the season.

One makes 10.5, one makes elc dough.

Ones much easier to justify sitting.

Even if the kid is powering down, talk to him and make him push through it at this time of year. They aren't in a playoff race. I thought Huska was some great teacher?

Well, that and benching a rookie probably is more beneficial and gets better results

He isn't. That is just a narrative the Huska supporters like to throw out. There is no record of success that shows Huska is a great teacher, especially with forwards.

Ya, that sends a great message to a young player. Hey kid, you had a bad game, you are going to miss out on valuable development time while some of these vets get a pass for screwing the pooch. Just like playing AJ Greer and Hunt over Coronato, Huska doing Huska things.

Out of our misery. Bring on the rebuild that management will go out of its way to call anything but a rebuild.

Right, however due to the mess Tree left us with the Monahan trade it is beneficial I guess to give him another year. We get a top 10 pick and Montreal gets Florida's. I believe Huska was a two year deal which means it ends at the end of next season, you can then just not renew and start looking at actually turning the corner. I do worry a bit about the lack of development that will happen with our young forwards but it is what it is.
