Trudeau sent in his goon squad to intimidate them and shut down their right to protest.

Or in the real world, RCMP were sent in as "peaceful protests" do not include blocking traffic on the TC Highway. One girl was on a video talking about they packed food for 3 weeks, seriously do these people not work?

My dad drove by last night, I guess they are settling in as they had a party atmosphere at 9pm. He figures they are getting paid to be there.

So has Alberta enacted enforcement under the Critical Infrastructure Defense Act, or is that only reserved for aboriginal and/or leftist activists?

They aren't blocking the highway, but lots of police there so the speed is reduced to 60.

Weren't they initially blocking lanes and slowing down traffic? Or because it is Highway 1 (as far as I know), the CIDA doesn't apply here?

Either way, obstructing Highway 1 can result in serious economic impact and kind of exactly what CIDA was created for.

They were initially. I know when I went west on Monday, they were in the right hand lane in both directions. East bound on the TCH I noticed a few pick up trucks purposely going well under the speed limit to cause a back up. When I cam back in the evening that day they had them in the shoulders, which helped a lot. I think they probably clued in on the repercussions of actually being on the TCH with all the police presence and moved accordingly.

On Twitter last night some woman put out a call for Calgarians to come out to help them stand up against the police (not violently). I don’t know if that was successful but a few others called out their stupidity.

I suspect literally none of them has regular gainful employment. They’re basically patsies for someone else.

When I went past this #### show on Monday there were also a bunch of vehicles pulled over queued up on the Highway 40 onramp. I assume they were preparing to enter the highway and slow it down.

Just show up in a park with signs and yell at people across the street like normal protestors already.

Isn't the Canadian Nazi Party's headquarters in Cape Breton?

They have a Compound and everything.

Damned Breton! Theres an island we should let float out to sea.

The irony of using gas-guzzling vehicles to drive a far distance out to protest a carbon tax - one in which they'll get a sizeable refund on too.

They had a low-level soldier drive a hybrid to the protest. They gave him a violent swirlie in the bathroom of the Petro-Canada truck stop and made him wear a #### TRUDEAU hoodie that had extra Calvin pissing stickers as punishment.

I remember seeing a car dealership advertise that you could 'stick it to trudeau' by buying a hybrid.

....like that's actually what he wants you to do but whatever works.
