I don't celebrating anything Astros is required at the best of times, nevermind at the expense of the Jays.
And I don't think getting no hit on a Monday in April is going to suddenly wake anyone up, who isn't already woken up, to the less than stellar offseason requiring more bats. Especially a day after clubbing 9 runs the day before.

Funny thing is I knew this game would end up this way after the 2nd inning(well not being no hit obviously). You could just see that the Jays were deflated after being down three and had no fight in them. So it was just weak AB after weak AB. This team is so poorly managed and has such bad leadership. They just don't have a give a crap meter.

Its only been a few games but noticed the camera shots have Pete Walker in them, or just Schneider.
Last year Mattingly was next to Schneider almost exclusively.

I’m sure the Shatkins apologists will come in here and say the Jays had an amazing off season and that’s only the 5th game of the season.
While the latter is true the former isn’t. They had a terrible off season. They didn’t improve the team at all. I’d argue they made it worse. And we are seeing the results of that.
The team is flawed. And it starts with the front office.

Lack of offensive talent or not, these are major league hitters. So many changeups that dropped out of the zone and Jays hitter can't adapt?
