It’s called denial. It’ll go away after another 10 games.

The Zary - Sharky - Bison line is going to get 3 goals tonight.

Hanley Andersson look like the tank commanders for this game.

Score 3 goals, give up 5 would be entertaining.

Matt C gets a hat trick tonight.

If Flames win
- We win, I'll never be upset about a victory and I don't really like the Kings
- Kings stays in wild card and chances of Knights playing Oilers in the first round increases which is better for us fans because Kings have shown they can't beat Oilers and frankly I have no confidence in the Kings

If Flames lose
- Better draft position

Win win situation tonight

I hate every team in the league that isn't Flames, and I respect very few of them. I certainly don't want to see LA have any success, but we need to take our medicine so that the Flames can come back stronger.

Flames were super unlucky the last two years and the hockey gods are going to reward them as soon as this offseason.

When Markstrom is in, the Flames can beat anyone. LA better get up for this one or it could be game over for them by the middle of the 2nd. If LA comes to play, I'm guessing it's a close game.

So how many on here thought Trevor Moore would be leading the Kings in goals 72 games into the season? Don't see the Kings as a team who could do more than pull a bit of a lucky upset in round 1 come playoff time.

But which two points? Are we already in the right slot?

Does moving up in draft position make it more of a reach to take Tij and expect them to pass on a higher ranked player?

Does moving down actually make it more likely that we take Iginla out of a group of comparably ranked players?

Does Montreal just wreck everything anyway and take Iginla way higher than projected?

I guess you have to cheer for the Celebrini ticket first, before all else.

Agreed, Hub-Cap and Sharon have played well together and maybe they could spur Coronato. Zary could also learn a ton from Backlind and Coleman.

We want to get closer to 1st overall regardless.

Need that lottery ball.

The out-of-town scoreboard has some good, some bad. Senators winning, Penguins won. Habs, Sabres losing, Coyotes lost.

The Flames just have to take care of their own business. Another huge 2 points up for grabs in the reverse standings!

Sabres will have 3 "reverse" games in hand on us after this.
