And it would be impossible for someone in the organization to not be aware...so that leaves the other option.


It also seems like a bit of an insult to members who are forced to pay dues as a part of working in the field in Alberta, just to see the annual meeting at the poshest place in Canada. Is that a responsible use of funds?

This is my first time attending so I am pretty flabbergasted as well. At this rate we'll be having flat-earth guest speakers at the APEGGA talks. He's obviously friends with some of the council members who have sway. I sincerely hope that once the alcohol gets flowing that there is some kind of question & answer session with him and he gets grilled for being there.

Other a’hole speakers have had their gigs cancelled (granted, in the U.S.) after many letters and phone calls protesting the choice. Maybe try that with Fleury. I’d hate for the guy to be given a mic and an audience.
