Coaching has been great given the personnel and this team has overachieved quite frankly. If you want to question the powerplay, go for it but the PK is one of the biggest bright spots of this season.
This is not on Huska but keep tooting that horn.

In well before the whistle but that’s not the standard. It’s a fair rule if the ref was trying to blow and fumbled it. But not to make up a non call.

Watch every other NHL team on the PK against the Capitals. They staple someone to Ovi. Fla.es didn't.
It wasn't a missed assignment, that's how they played the entire PP. It was a clear miss.

The intent to blow the whistle rule is the biggest pile of BS in pro sports. Just another tool for game management. If a player intends to score a goal and it doesn't go in should it count?

No they don’t actually. Go watch how many of Ovie’s goals have been from that exact same position. Let me know what you figure out.
