Jersey is called the Garden State because most of it smells like compost. There are actually so many things not to like about Jersey, from the traffic right through to the hockey team, that it is often referred to as Americas arse.
But that doesn’t mean there isn’t anything positive to be said for a trip to Jersey. In fact, there are lots of people who travel through New Jersey on the way to somewhere else, just for the opportunity to find plenty of new reasons to hate New Jersey.

New Jersey is the most toxic state in the country. It has by far the most Superfund (AKA CERCLA) sites, which to give you the quick rundown about, is an EPA fund dedicated to cleaning up toxic spills and hazardous waste. Check out this map of Superfund sites...note the high concentration in New Jersey.

Much like Evander Kane the Oilers once again were able to pick up a guy for less than his cap hit in the same season. Suspect much like Kane the player got their money anyway. Someone should look into that cap contravention.

Not entirely sure why that helps us understand the pure terribleness of the Edmonton Hockey Club. But carry-on I suppose.
