It's kind of the luck of the draw. When you break things down, maybe those are not that big of upsets

Jared Watson, who upset Pannullo on Monday, was a 3 game winner and lost to Suresh after leading the entire way but bombed two DD and FJ. Suresh was a very weak 6 game winner so who knows how far Jared could have gone.

David Sidley, who won yesterday, was a 4-game winner who lost to Pannullo! So who knows how far he could have gone!

I kept thinking, is this that comedic actor from all that stuff I can’t remember?

But I was like no he must just look like him because this guy is wicked smart. Then when he got final I was ok no way. Then I googled him and was like holy #### it is that guy!

I thought it was a joke that the Celebrity winner would be in this tournament. Wow. Respect.

All the top seeds except for Luigi getting knocked out, crazy. Ben Chan and Troy Meyer should be worried

Ike played really well, he's legit.

The high school winner goes tonight against Ben Chan.

The Celeb and High School winner were the biggest longshots so we'll see!

Yeah and the final jeopardies are so hard in this tourney hard not to think that was the play.

I don't get Yogesh's 0 bet. You can't let 3rd place beat you if your right.

It was a bad miscalculation. He wasn’t thinking about Ben at all
Goes back to my point…jeopardy contestants are generally stunningly bad at handling the daily double and final jeopardy bets

Troy should have bet next to nothing when he got the 2nd daily double.

I know there was a strike, but are there no regular episodes anymore?

Jennings said that after that tourney they will be back to regular jeopardy.
I also don't really understand how the strike impacted Jeopardy. I don't get it. Why did they have to switch to tourney formats?

The people in the tournament of champions (like Ben Chan, Panullo, Lalonde etc...) refused to play with recycled clues. So they had to stall. They ran 2nd chance tournaments until the writers came back (because 2nd chance players will play no matter what). They ran 10+ tournaments with hundred of players over 6 months to qualify 6 players to the TOC.

Lucas Partridge is the current 3-day champion. His 3rd win was aired July 28, 2023. He's had to wait until April, 2024 to continue.

This tourney is fantastic. I much prefer it to the masters which I found to be a letdown. I hope it goes the full 9 games. I could watch these 3 duke it out every day.
