For me, the shows been great, I haven't seen the movie, but the TV show as a stylistic successor to Snatch they are really nailing it.
I'm just starting E4 and I'm enjoying it for the most part. It does seem like someone told Ritchie to 'tone it down' which is a shame, because his 'off the chain' style is really, usually the best part.
Until he mixes the Scousers in. They're always the best part.

Been watching the first couple seasons of Snowfall on FX. Really liking it. Has a mild Breaking Bad feel to it in terms of the lying and a man in too deep while getting to the top. It's setup during the 80s, so trade meth for crack, some CIA misgivings and a funky 80s hiphop soundtrack.

It ended much better than I was expecting, but The Leftovers certainly suffered from Lindelof-syndrome. In the end 80% of the hook lead nowhere and meant nothing, so the payoff fell short just like Lost.
Still, it was an entertaining enough show and I'd recommend it for the characters and ride alone.
The Prestige Podcast (Ringer) just did a "did it stick the landing" for the Leftovers, which revealed some interesting stuff about the show and how it shifted between Season one and two.
There is definitely a lot of glossed over events or theories by the end of the show and thankfully its only 28 episodes, instead of 100 episodes. But I think some of it is just a wild ride. International Assassin is just such a great episode and, in the grand scheme of things, has little to do with the result.
Season 2 and 3 are just fun rides. Season 1 is so god damn somber

Such a great show, co-creator, writed/director John Singleton is behind the show, so if anyone is a fan of Boyz n the Hood is is sort of a long format in the same style.
Recently I have been watching The Bear, so far entertaining...

Yeah, I dug it. Sort of like how I dig the Lost finale. But maybe I'm just.....down with the sickness.

Futurama, Family Guy, Bob's Burgers... all the Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and National Geographic programs. It's not even close. I have both free right and Disney+ blows it out of the water.
Cecil saying I have poor taste than listing Master of the Air is just wrong. Offensively wrong. That's not a good series.
Yeah Disney+ is #1 by a country mile
Apple+ has a handful of good shows and nothing else at all
Shogun fourth episode, this show is not missing a beat. It just gets better and better. I really hope they can keep this up and knock it out of the park.

I'm just going to go ahead and recommend this series now. Ewan MacGregor as Count Rostov. A Gentleman in Moscow was one of my favorite books of the last decade.
Comes out March 29th on Showtime and Paramount. Not sure where else you could find it at the moment.

Lost's final season may have had some... mixed reviews, but man that show could really do a cliffhanger - and I hate cliffhangers (although much less now that I generally watch shows once they are done)
Season 1: opening the hatch
Season 2: the Others taking captives
Season 3: The realization that Jack and Kate got back
Season 4: Who Jeremy Bentham is
Season 5: Who John Locke wasn't
