They shouldn’t even have clocks unless it’s part of their function. My oven can turn on/off at preset times, but my microwave and toaster oven can’t do anything based on the time of day so why do I need a bunch of clocks in my kitchen, all running slightly fast or slow, so even if I set them based in the time on my phone, they’ll never stay the same.
And all different shades or colours. And all way to ####ing bright. My coffee make casts shadows for god sakes, it’s ridiculous.

They shouldn't have clocks but they do and anyone not changing those times to be correct shouldn't be part of a civilized society

Lol. This is funny. My wife likes to have a clock in every room so she hates DST because she has to re-set them all.
It is her job to re-set them, because they are her clocks.
I too have a clock in every room I'm in. Its called..."My watch." And it re-sets itself. Job. Done.
Sorted.
"Why do you look at your watch? Theres a clock on the wall?"
Why do I want to look across the room when the answer is literally attached to my wrist? If I want to be a real curmudgeon about it I could haul out this intensely inconvenient device out of my pocket and lo and behold! The time is right there too!
As opposed to the Cat-Clock you bought at Winners a decade ago thats on the other side of the room built by disinterested children in Indonesia that can barely keep time as it is!
Years ago my kids bought me a Star Wars clock for Christmas. I like it. Its neat. I put it up in my office. But I felt like "Captain Hook" from Peter Pan.
That thing was so goddamned loud and annoying with the ticking that I just took the batteries out and its a decoration. I dont actually need it to tell time.
For instance. Right now I am sitting in my office. I have 3 monitors. They all show the time in the bottom right corner. My phone is front of me. It shows the time. I have a smart TV on the wall, it shows the time too. Oh! And I still am wearing a watch. Which....believe it or not....tells the time.
And they all auto-correct for DST.
Oh! And my Point-of-Sale machine! I'd never look at that for the time, but its there too if I need it!
Hell...my Printer in the corner has the time if I need it.
I think I'm covered.
And if you’d get around to programming your VCR you could stop that annoying flashing and have the time* there too!
Why does everything have to get worse all the time? Google maps is just the worst now. It’s all ads and it no longer shows live transit locations. It’s also constantly harassing me to enable location always and notifications or it basically bricks itself. WTF is this bull####?
Reddit sucks. The whole UI is awful.
Prime with ads. Netflix with its annoying location lock.
Buying anything sucks because it’s all doubled in price.
It just seems like everything sucks now. Except maybe CP. it’s about how it always has been.

I guess it's a matter of perspective but it does feel to me that everything sucks right now that's for sure. Just have to keep plugging away and ride things out for better times ahead.
Yeah google maps is so slow now. It must be trying to load in so much extra data/info etc. I just want to quickly see a map of the roads! Bring back mapquest!
I can't stand people who try to have a conversation in their office but don't want other people to overhear it so they whisper. But they whisper loud enough that all you can hear is that psst psst psst sound. I can't work listening to that.

You can opt out of the reddit redesign in settings, but it's annoying that you have to do that.
This phenomenon even applies to our kids' fancy nightlight/white noise machine (Hatch). It used to be I'd open the app and I could make any change I wanted immediately and intuitively, be it selecting one of our preset configurations or adjusting an output specifically, all from a single screen. Now the app takes twice as long to load...gives me a quarter second on the new crappy home screen before defaulting into another screen that I have to swipe away and then it takes like 3 clicks to make any change where it used to take one. It's maddening.
