Exactly.
Conroy sold all his UFAs. You can argue returns all you want, but he sold them and added two 1st round picks +++ to the coffers.
The goalie has two years left at a reasonable number and is having an All-Star calibre season.
If this group makes the playoffs, good for them. They earned it.
If not, our pick is higher, and we have the ammo to trade up for Iggy-T.

Pressure to try something to make the playoffs this year. Teams do this all the time, hopes that a change of scenery work on a position they are struggling in. You can even see it in the conditions. NJ will to pay a little more if Allen works out long term, but have hedged the price on that it might not.

So.... what's your take - they should be trading Kylington because he's a pending UFA like Tanev and Hanifin?
Kylington has played 15 games, he has 3 points, he's looked OK. What should they get for him? Or sign him for?
He will sign a one or two year contract at around his current deal, so he can be fully evaluated.

Send them Oesterle. Treliving probably wants a veteran guy they can call up if someone gets injured in the playoffs.
