Looking at some of the Other trades the Flames got the best value anyway
Lindholm is the trade of the deadline and the others are well within market value

Well. I think you can make the argument that the Ducks getting a first for Henrique ranks right up there.

I did say he was a minus player on a powerhouse Devils team. And *check notes* he's still a -13 with the Flames.
I'll admit he has exceeded my expectations, but not by a significant degree. He posted 24 goals previously with the Devils. and with pretty cushy minutes with the Flames is on pace for 29.
Still not thrilled with the return on that trade, though.

The trade was a clear win. Everyone sees the impact Sharangovich is having on the team - he's a great player. He's now playing centre, and doing very well at it... You were wrong, your take on him was negative (as usual) - if you fail to see that I don't know what to tell you.
Your certainty regarding Miromanov is ridiculous, and to be honest it's very simple minded and shows a complete lack of self-awareness - you, like the rest of us have no idea how this is going to turn out, yet somehow you have this unfounded certainty that this was a poor move.

My take was on the trade overall. But pile on little man.
I don't think Sharangovich is a good C. He has a good shot and good chemistry with Huberdeau. But as a C he lost 9 out of the 10 face offs he had last night and is 38% on the season. Think he will inevitably be moved back to wing. He's also getting the cushiest minutes on the team, 87% offensive zone starts last night.
Uh oh. Did I say something not strictly positive about the Yaegormeister? Sue me.

Can I have your house for a paperclip? Why not? You never know, there may be a massive worldwide shortage of paperclips tomorrow. Don't be so simple minded as to assume the value of a paperclip! Be more self aware! You know nothing of paperclip futures.

I have no idea what this player will be but it sounds like he has a great attitude and a lot of skill, hopefully this is a great find by our scouting staff. I thought initially he was just a throw in for contract reasons but apparently there is belief he just needs a chance to shine. I am intrigued regardless to see what we got here.

I'd think so. He'll likely take Gilbert's spot considering Gilbert played less than 4 minutes last night.

One thing I found interesting...we all know how great Pachal has been for the Flames...it was actually Miromanov returning from injury that caused the Knights to waive Pachal.
So Vegas actually seemed to think more highly of Miromanov than they did of Pachal.
Miromanov was placed on a conditioning stint on Jan 23rd, Pachal was waived Feb 3rd (think they were trying to sneak him down on the all-star break), and Miromanov returned to the lineup on Feb 8th.

^ They mentioned during the intermission chat last night that Pachal called Miromanov the best player he's ever played with at bringing the puck up the ice. He was also QBing the PP when Theodore and Pietrangelo were out.
Really curious to see what he can do in a bigger role. Conroy and his crew seem to have an eye for these types of players now.

Kylington and Hanley are both LH and Pachal and Miromanov are both RH.
I'd go:
Weegar-Andersson
Kylington - Pachal (they have 57% xGF together, don't break it up)
Grush/Hanley - Miromanov

I thought he was good in the game I was at last weekend. Couple noticeable nice plays.
Scorp on here said he thought he was the Wranglers best D that game, I would have put him behind Aspirot I think.

THat's fine. I think Pachal is a potential 4D anyway. He's only 24.
