Instead of Milos playing Nadal, he's playing Nagal.

Unfortunately it's really starting to turn into a sad spectacle at this point and shouldn't be the way he goes out.
Rafa should have hung it up while he could still play consecutive matches or hit balls on his backhand side. He really needs to commit to saying he will play Madrid/Rome as a tune-up and attempt to make the French Open his final event. If the plan is to keep pecking at and withdrawing from events through the clay season and into the summer, I don't think it's going to go well.

Milos and Denis both in action in the evening session tonight, Shapo is taking on BVDZ who has been struggling in 2024, hopefully Denis can get the win tonight.

I'm quite pleased that Diane Parry beat Trevisan and Parry will take on Leylah because I can't stand Trevisan's grunt.

Milos wins the opening set 6-3 over Nagal. He's not even serving all that well thus far tonight, however the groundies are pretty good.

Milos advances 6-3 6-3 as the PA blasts Informer by Snow lol
/That lower right leg is heavily taped though, hopefully it's just precautionary.

With all the talk about how slow the courts usually are at Indian Wells, I have to say that based on the matches I have watched thus far, they don't look that slow to me.

Felix delivers a breadstick to Constant Lestienne in set 2 - A little wobbly on the serve yet again today though and he won't be able to get away with that against a tougher opponent.

Another win for Milos!
My mom ran into him at the grocery store near the Tennis centre. Meekly told him she was a fan and was too shy to ask for a picture. I thought that was cute haha.
She reports his wife is thin, tall and beautiful. So… another win for Milos?

All right, a win for Shapo 6-1 6-4 over BVDZ and he gets Musetti next who has been struggling to find form of late. Let's go Denis!!

Watching Jakub Mensik versus Ben Shelton in a battle between two young guys - Mensik just broke and is serving for the opening set at 5-4. Really impressive stuff from the 18 year old.
Edit: Consolidates the break to take the opening set 6-4 and Big Ben is in some trouble.

Ben Shelton wins set 2 6-3 and just broke to take a 3-2 lead in set 3.
Edit: That one shaky service game from Mensik was all that Ben needed as he takes set 3 6-4 and advances to the next round.

Arnaldi wins the first set in a tie-break over Charlie, Charlie replies with a bagel in set 2.
Edit: Carlitos wins set 3 6-1 and will take on Felix in the next round.
