Can't help but feel we'll finish two points out of a wild card spot and wind up with a mediocre pick.

No going to be some interesting names in that range. To me next tier is eight nine depending on what you think of certain players.

Love how the team is playing like a team and not as individuals. Great to see! Hard not to like what Conroy has done ... Sharangovich has just been amazing and a joy to watch. An engaged Huberdeau is also been so great in 2024, and Kadri has been a lot better than I expected. Would love to keep Markstrom, but this is a good time to get assets if we can and someone can overpay. Love the influx of youth.

It would be even funnier if Vegas took a dump, missed playoffs, we squeaked in and THEN that happened.

That Huberdeau assist was unreal.
That's a 115 point guy assist, that was.

Fun game! I was at this game, first time at the Tampa rink, and first game I've seen in the south. A few notes:
- Nice barn
- They know how to put on a show
- Fans were enthusiastic and for the most part know the game
- Had a good laugh at the Huberdeau hate
- Food at the 'dome doesn't hold a candle to Amelie Arena
- Flames came out strong, I wasn't sure what I'd see with the trades, road trip, etc
- Tampa makes lots of mistakes. How do they have so many points?
- Flames won!!!

Coronato's performance was really promising. Huge interception leading to Huberdeau's great pass and then he made the quick pass for Sharangovich's second of the game.
4 point night for Sharky is great to see. He was really effective out there.
I thought that Hanley played pretty well after some nervousness in the first period. Cool of them to put him out there on the powerplay at the end. He got involved in the offence a bit and looked good during the second period. I'm sure defencemen like playing for the Flames as they are really involved in the offence.
Markstrom was really good when he had to be as well. Still a lot of good players on this team.

Was it full? I'm assuming ticket prices are pretty reasonable in that market.

|
He was simply not ready to play or compete tonight. The first two shifts he was out there he got filled in, and did nothing to indicate he was ready to compete. It was ugly...he hasn't looked great since his injury.
On another note, Kadri had a ####ing rough night out there. Took 3 penalties, was not great defensively, was ineffective in the offensive zone, and showed no chemistry with his linemates. One he would love to forget.
