Rhett Warrener summarized the player quite well. "I have no idea who this 26 year old player is. By 26 you should have a pretty good idea." Centerpiece and much desired? No.

no no..that's not what I said and you know it. Don't spin this. It's not what you're saying, it's how you're saying it.
Still waiting on that scouting report of yours. If you have something to offer about the player that you've seen, now's the time.

I mean, other than the typical breakout threshold for most players is 27 years old, so....
Lol I feel like I am pumping the kid up. I have no idea what he is gonna be, but I am not going to dislike him or discount him before he even plays 1 minute for the team!

You still haven't bothered to tell us what your actual analysis on the player is. Just you hate the trade and various ad hominem attacks on anyone asking you.

It’s wild that “I have no idea who he is but guys in the know seem to think highly of him so we’ll see” is now some delusional homer take.
Imagine hearing Conroy talk about a guy and thinking “ok, but I don’t know anything about him, so… liar”

Yes, I can. And I do.
But some CPers can't handle this and have to lambast anyone who doesn't tow the party line.

They could have had him for nothing in a few months. I hope he's just a guy who needs an opportunity because it sounds like he has some skill and could be really good, but including him in this trade is just opening a roster spot for Vegas because they only had 1 available, and had to move someone.

They are then also bidding against every team looking to add defensive depth. Hard to think he chooses Calgary if the more desirable cities come calling. Grabbing him now would feel good as a player, shows how much the team wanted you

LOL.. There wasn't going to be a bidding war, and if he can't look at a team like Calgary and see that it will easily be one of the best opportunities in the league to guarantee that he'll get lots of playing time and increase his value, then easy come easy go.
He's played in a more desirable location and that means he's competing with more established players for the same position.

I like him but I suspect Warrener doesn't who half the players in the league are. He's never struck me as that kind of hockey guy.

My opinion is this is a severely underwhelming return. And I only use ad hominems in response to ad hominems.
What did you think of Nick Desimone? Now make Desimone a Russian. And there you go. A third pairing guy who won't embarrass himself most nights at the NHL level, but a relatively low ceiling otherwise. Keep in mind in addition to his 4 games this year where he got decent ice time, he only had 14 games the season before. So about the same viewing sample size as a Desimone this year. He didn't really stand out much last year.

What you are avoiding is saying when you saw Mirormanov and what he did or didn't do in the games you watched.

I looked at his stats. Played 6 games with Henderson in 2020-21 after coming over / back from Europe. Split time between Henderson (mostly) and Vegas for the next two seasons. Injured to start this season and wasn't assigned to Henderson for conditioning until Jan 23.
So he has split two years between AHL and NHL in the Vegas organization. Is it surprising that Rhett has no idea about this player? Neither do I, but I feel like it isn't surprising that the Flames scouting organization may know more about this guy than, say, Rhett Warrener or cannon7.
Agreed on your last comment. He isn't the centerpiece to the deal. No one is arguing that he is.

Christ. You want a play-by-play account? Tough.
If Mirormanov was noticeable it wasn't for good reasons. If I didn't notice him it was usually a good game from him. He is about as physical, has about as good an outlet pass, is about as good a skater, etc. as a Nick Desimone. He'll be fine on the third pairing.
