Could we trade Mangiapane to Vegas for the 2025 1st moving the first for Hanifin to 2026?

I get what you're saying but doubt players in this era feel obligated to payback to the organization.
Personally, sign him to a fair contract that works for both sides. I will be extremely angry if he walks or wants to go somewhere else given how accommodating the Flames have been.
I'm hoping the payback you're referring to is that he feels obligated to commit to Calgary.

Agree.
I think the most fair thing would be just repeat the same deal.
Repeat that 2 year deal, if he has a good full season next year then you work on extension at that point.

It’s kinda funny that everyone on here was bashing Seravalli as a Flames hater but I wonder if he was actually helping Conroy out in trying to lower expectations. Everything he has said has been favourable to Conroy: from praising the Lindholm return; blaming Maloney for the Markstrom thing; tempering the return on Hanifin; and now praising the job that Conroy did.
