Part of me is hoping for the 1st because classic Tre, but the other part of me wants it to be relatively cheap to make Hanifin deal look less bad

I don't know. Doesn't seem like a great addition for TML. It does seem like a typical Tre deadline addition though.

Brad's working like he's still in Calgary.
Toronto's window is open, man. They need D, and it's a weak draft.
This is when you spend that 1st. 2025/26 is when you want to have a 1st. Bit of a wasted opportunity where better D were available.
I wouldn't bet on that Leafs back end in the playoffs.
