If any place would work for Lindy, it's with the Bs

I don’t care for us that Vancouver paid through the nose. It’s just weird. Sort of like when Carter hated his trade to Columbus and basically crap-played his way into a trade to LA.

Edit: Carter not Perry

I don't think so. He is no Bergeron which is what they will be expecting. Their window is also closing in the very near future, I would love to see Sulky Pants stuck there.

I see Boston as a dark horse for Pissy when he’s a ufa. Win now mode, and a bunch of dbags

And Pasta is his buddy. That was reason #1 for me.

The d-bag culture is probably very appealing too though.

Frank doesn't think Vancouver can land Guentzel. He said, Van, Fla, Car, NYR and VGK are the front runners. He seemed to lean towards Vegas.

Man if Vegas walks away with Hanifin and Guentzel and Stone comes back they will be a juggernaut

If it benefits the Flames I'm glad they skirted the cap again with the Stone situations. But man, going forward how can anyone not be in favour of fixing this loophole. Seemingly exploited by the same teams time after time.

But I don't understand Pittsburgh seeing this as the best return in getting DeBrusk. They needed quantity and quality. This is the best they can do? Anyway, at this stage I think Guentzel is a flavour of the month like a lot of guys tend to be every year. I truly believe he's a guy Crosby made and when is all said and done you'll see a steep decline from him. Lindholm we'll see next year. This year seems to be a conditioning writeoff for him. DeBrusk the Pens should simply flip.
I don't think you can call Guentzel flavor of the month when he's been consistently good his entire career. I could see him fitting in well in Vancouver.

Boston is weird though.

Somehow Zacha and Coyle have looked like amazing centers there. They just seem to have that magic.

I wonder how the conditions will work with the conditional 4th round pick if Lindholm indeed gets traded. Interesting.

All it'll take is Oilers to pull a Lightning/VGK LTIR move with McD and/or Drai next year and the league will impose a fix on the loophole - just like they kinda fixed the lottery draft to prevent Oilers from continually getting the 1st overall pick.

If Vegas can knock the Oilers out of the playoffs this year I'm willing to overlook the loophole for now

Especially since they're only out by a tiebreaker.
