I imagine that’s taken from what you saw?

Yes. It was an interview on Sportsnet this evening with Ken Reid.

If Conny will only deal with the Lightning... he's not putting the franchise first. Hanifin should go where the best deal is.

Why would you possibly think he's not doing exactly that?

Well it’s not Conory fault Sounds like the goofball player agent and Hanifin are not willing to work with the flames and went into business themselves.

Team negotiated in good faith with him all year and offered him a big contract, and he repays us like this.

You expect him to sign somewhere for eight years he doesn’t want to live so the Flames can get a better return?

How do you know that is not the best deal?

Who told you Conroy will only deal with TB?

Because Friedman is reporting Tampa is likely destination. Which is where Hanifin wants to go.

If this is true Tampa Bay has to be giving Calgary a first, I don't see any great roster players on Tampa that Tampa would even give up and that Calgary would want, if they get to sign him and the player gets the extra year, Calgary needs to get compensated for that

No one is forcing him to sign with the team he goes too. He can just accept the trade and go to free agency. Instead him and his agent decided to stick it to the Flames.

I hope we stick it to the next client Brisson reps with us.

If someone offers a better deal for him as a rental, then the Flames will trade him as a rental. Tampa Bay (or any other team) will have to beat the rental price if they want to sign him now.

I don't really see where anybody is sticking it to anyone.

Huh? Conny is likely comparing the TB deal for a (purportedly) signed or will-re-sign Hanifin to a FLA, VGK or wildcard deal with him strictly as a rental.

If TB doesn't pony up enough, Conny will take a better deal from a team Hanny won't likely sign with.

Stop…you’re clearly making unmerited presumptions.

You have no idea of what team has presented the best offer…nor do I.

Well it sounds like he gets to go to the place he would have signed with. They have some of the worst assets to offer us.

Others teams wouldn’t have just stopped making good offers. So either Tampa is offering an impressive package or Brisson stuck it to us.
