Honestly though, if Lindholm gets to free agency, what would you offer him to come back?
To me I wouldn't even want him back.

Absolutely no to bringing back a guy who sulked around and quit on the team.
It would be stunning if he got a long term deal this offseason. He’s probably going to bounce around the league from this point on. Maybe go to Chicago on a 1 year deal to get paid, traded at the deadline. Goes to free agency again and gets a better deal if he actually performs.

I don’t think you can bring him back at this point, his expectation would be first line center but he really isn’t and that experiment post Johnny and Chucky proved it. He’s very good but his pay and slotting will never align with what I personally believe they should be.
