Some of those guys will be older by then, young teams are starting to get better in that division (Buffalo, Detroit, Ottawa), and they are already only 5th in their division.

Hedman will be 35/36, Stamkos like 36, maybe an injury or two derails there season, it's a gamble but there is some logic behind it

By all means, take the best offer. The 800 days doesn’t scare me in the slightest.

Once it turns into 500, 200, 80, you will be happy. Delayed gratification does take a bit to appreciate.
