Strickland is similar to Russo though. He is a very credible and respected reporter with a local team who has connections. Yes, in this case, he made a mistake.

I have heard stories too (I'm in oil and gas) and I imagine many of them are true.
But there is also a hyper over reaction to the topic that has people ignoring the Flames spending to the cap, buying players out, retaining on Tanev, etc.
Do you have a story where he meddled with a Flames trade? If so bring it up.

There is this one about the zucker trade. He didn't say no to it. Just couldn't be reached for approval which i get. It's probably best Mur was out of reach that day.
