You can’t have a first period like that when you are fighting for your playoff life!

I think the Flames would have come back in this game if not for that brutal short handed goal against. They were buzzing and had all of the momentum.

The kid’s a rookie. I bet he finds the right balance.
I bet they aren't too bothered by it.

Oh well, first loss in 6 games. It was coming - the Pens game wasn’t good.

Well you have to think this was Hanafin's last game as a Flame. He's really hit his stride so hopefully we can get a haul even with all the lowering of expectations. Still wouldn't mind re-signing him either if somehow possible.

I love the compete I see out of the Flames. I wish that they had the consistent play/skill/talent to make something out of it.

Why does Huska have Hanifin out there in a game that is over? That is stupid asset management.

In the final bit of the game.

Getting behind with a bad first 20 is why they lose tonight

Late starts. I blame the complacency of being at home with time off.

If they had half the urgency to start as they closed out with, they win this going away.

Waste of points to dispense on team toothpaste.

Your not making sense. If you have those kind of issues fine you can even get away with flirting with crossing the line. But when you routinely cross it, you cant cry foul or duck away when someone retaliates against you.
Tkachuk did it all the time. I loved it. I preferred he never ever fought.

I wish. Just seems stupid to risk at point shot hurting him.

Most likely so he can get a proper sending off from the Fans. Good luck Noah. You were a solid Flame and played hard this season and never pouted. Good luck in Florida!

You swing at people best believe your going to get hit back. Tkachuk answered the bell when he crossed the line which was what was respectable.

If Pospisil keeps running around the way he does he cant hide behind the concussion issues forever. He can still be a pest without the dirty hits and swinging at other players and than turtling. He either steps up and fights or he adjusts his game to not cross that line. He can still be an effective pest without the fake tough guy stuff and dirty hits.

I'm fine with him doing all that stuff and never fighting.

Players come and players go but one thing you can always count on is the Flames losing to teams that are worse than them in the standings. They've turned it into an art form.
