What's the over/under on the Flames making more than 2 trades this week?

I'm going with the over, I think they're gonna go shopping if they can't get that center in the remain UFA trade.

I doubt the flames picking up a centre on deadline day when generally UFA’s are moved.

If it's 2 trades, I hope it's Hanifin and acquiring a cap dump. May as well use up some cap space and add assets, rather than spending assets on a cheap player.

I was thinking the same. Maybe ownership wanted to make the deal, and ruff just couldn't follow through. Maybe they'll push for it now.

Flames routinely a spend to the cap team
Flames retained on a salary already this year
Flames shelled out a massive contract for Huby sight unseen

All this talk about how Murray is a penny pincher has been slowly dispelled since the Huberdeau signing IMO, Murray doesn’t seem to have any issues with handing out money in a variety of ways and it seems Craig Conroy has the gumption to use the different tools at hand to weaponize many aspects of the cap. Looking forward to his work over the next few days!
