Yeah most people active on Twitter (who aren't celebs or media) are attention hoarding drama queens. Definitely not an accurate representation of the general public. It's just the most visible.

So we cheer for NJ to win their next two games 5-4 or 6-5 between now and the deadline, keeps them in the hunt but finally proves to Fitz that goaltending isn't going to magically get better for them. I like it.

They play Florida tomorrow and St. Louis on Thursday.. Oof, they're gonna get crushed by the Panthers aren't they.

Well if Wednesday is the deadline for Marky/Flames it’ll be really interesting to see how they play against the panthers coming up on Tuesday. It’s funny too because the NJD were using the past 3 game west coast trip as ‘the gauge’ and didn’t look like goaltending was a strength for them lol.

It was weird because if they lost they need goaltending but are further away from the POs. If they won they are closer but maybe convince themselves that they can make it "as is".

It may end up being a better return if they roll the dice on their present goaltending and crap out because of it. Then the fan base and owenrship demand a change in net.

On Markstrom people need to quit acting like Conroy is in a corner. He is way more cornered on Hanifin.

I wish I could fast forward my fandom to July 1st, 2027. There is not a lot that is exciting about these next few years from a results perspective.

Getting to watch Zary, Coronato, Wolf, and Pospisil develop while a few other youngsters undoubtedly make their debut will be fun and I’m here for it…but the uncertainty around how this team is moving forward isn’t the most exciting cloud of confusion.
