I have not taken the train downtown in a long time and I was surprised to find out that ACAD is now a university and that SAIT has demolished that rec block with the arena and bar. Lots of interesting things going on over there.

Are they known as AUAD now? Too many vowels.

The Alberta College of Art and Design, known by its acronym, ACAD, is officially being renamed. As of Feb. 1, the school will be called the Alberta University of the Arts and will be the province's first university dedicated to arts and design. It'll also go by its new acronym, AUArts

Ah, it's totally unpronounceable now.

If they could find a reason to put an F as the first letter, they'd be getting somewhere.

I would not recommend using debit for online purchases. You have none of the protections or recourse you would have if using a credit card (disputes etc.), and if there is a hack or something it would suck much more to get all new banking info rather than a new credit card.

This is very good advice.

Your debit card gets scammed? Its your problem.

Your credit card gets scammed? Its VISA's/Bank's problem.

It's a complete rebuild of the athletic complex.

I used it for Instacart just didn't think it would work and wanted to try it.

Also, crackheads broke into our field office last night and stole old employee crap from the refrigerator, coffee pods and a weed whipper. No computers or anything. We have it all on video. Bizarre.

When we were kids, when we visited my grandparents, both sets of whom lived high up in apartment buildings, we used to race our parents down; we would take the stairs and they would take the elevator. It was a lot of fun.

Now that I live in a building, I wonder how much everyone else hated whenever we would visit our grandparents.

Are there any decent parodies of Weird Al's original songs?

I think he's asking if anyone parodies Weird Al's regular songs like Weird Al does other people's regular songs.

Michael Jackson made a parody of “Eat It”, and called it “Beat it”. Not sure if any good.
