That was pretty funny, lol. Like of all the places to check out before a recorded sports game, the home town sports team's main forum where everyone is discussing the game in real time?!! |

Yeah people are disgusting. From my experiences in public washrooms, I put the ratio of men washing their hands afterwards at 50/50. It's nasty.

At my gym, there's a side bathroom with 1 stall closer to the equipment if you don't feel like making the trek back to the locker room. There's pee all over the seat regularly - not in a light, splash back way, but actually peeing on it. Like at least lift the seat first, I swear some think it's funny and do it intentionally. Animals.

Men, specifically, are disgusting.

Around more of the peak COVID times when handwashing was a bigger thing than usual, I was chatting with a group of my girl friends and mentioned that if handwashing was what was going to save us, men would absolutely doom us. The look on their faces when I explained that it would be surprising to see 75% of guys washing their hands after they use a public bathroom and the number was likely closer to 30-50% on average was priceless.

Apparently it’s a very male-specific issue.

I don't meet a lot of people these days, but I'm really trying to find my way out of any hand shake scenario. I would rather hug someone than touch their disgusting paw. But really the Japanese have this figured out with the bow.

Ok. I have to defend myself. I was not going into the Game Thread. That would be dumb. It seems somewhat reasonable to go into the FOI thread as there are no spoilers in there except for the the title of the PGT. My ask was that the score not be in the PGT title. That seems imminently reasonable but the mob has disagreed. At least I will now be remembered, if not by name, if not for the witty reparte I provide, at least for the dumbest thread in the grind my gears thread. Le sigh.

Sort of takes the steam out of the thanks when you explain it away in the next post. Clearly a terrible lawyer drafted the terms of that agreement.

I just feel washing your hands after discharging number 2 is so common sense that you just wonder if we as a species have really evolved as much as we think we have. I really think that the genetic legacy of cro-magnon man lives on today in some men.
