I've flown in from Winnipeg to attend the game and ceremony. At Scotsman's Hill getting picturesque photos of the Dome. Maybe not the best idea as now I'm freezing my ass off. Anyone want to grab a few beers and reminisce about our GOAT? If not, can anyone recommend the best place on 17th to get good food? Thanks.
Anyone know if they're televizing the ceremony? If so, what time and who?

I think this is legitimately the most I've heard Kipper speak.
For sure. Though having kids who's first language is English, he's probably gotten more comfortable with it since his playing days, in addition to all the things he's done post playing that has him a different person since he's left.
Also, clips from the video reminds me to get my 04 jersey with a name and number on the back, with the black lettering. That jersey looks so much more put together, as it was designed to look consistent and have black C, black number, and black name bar. As soon as they went to white letters after 11 games, it threw the entire design aesthetic of the jersey out the window.
I could watch weeks of Kipper content, such a one of a kind guy, funny and for me the best goalie the flames have ever had by a good margin with all due respect to Vernie. I remember when him and Morrison went salmon fishing on some fishing tv show that was also awesome, looking forward to more flames tv stuff
Yeah nice memories watching those clips. Made me feel happy remembering some of those saturday night oilers hnic clips how even though there were a lot of playoff disappointments after the run to the finals... damn it was so great how he just owned the Oilers in that era. I feel like oiler fans friends of mine just had no hope going into games back then. 33-14, a .919 save percentage and never lost a season series to them

I'm loving all the Kipper stories the past few weeks, Krahn on the morning show, McLennan/Warrener on Barn Burner, various guests on Steinberg's show. David Marcoux on Flames Talk yesterday was a really good one.
