It's a shame Dallas is a giant swamp instead of a nice coastal city. But, being an american hockey millionaire in Texas is probably a pretty sweet scenario.
It's not one of the rumored teams but you'd have to think they'd have a reasonable shot to re-sign him. Strong contending chances as well, especially with Hanifin in the fold.

Boom really selling the idea of Tanev on the Oilers. Weird.
Suggests Dallas & the Flames were down the road on Tanev a few weeks back and could be revisited over the next couple of days
Frank doesn't see a path to a deal for Hanifin with Boston or Tampa, still suggests a disappointing return for Hanifin
Says Markstrom to NJD was 95% done

My only mild worry about Stankoven is that I get some Mathew Phillips vibes from him. Lots of talent but a little small for the league especially at center.

They're built different. Phillips was short and slim. Like sub 150lbs. Stankoven is 170-180 lbs.
The size is a bit of a worry, but look at Marco Rossi in Minny. He's closer to Stankoven's body type.
