Coleman a single assist away from a Gordie Howe Hat trick

I don't mind Backlund as captain. He's a little milquetoast some times, but he's fine.
Backlund was the guy who after the 2-7-1 start said this is bull#### we are better than this. A lot of teams would have just folded at that point given what had taken place over the last year and the trades everyone knew were going to happen. He deserves a lot of credit for his leadership imo.

Man that was satisfying. The Flames were up 3-1 after 1 and all the HNIC panel could talk about was the Oilers! Then Friedman with the absolutely terrible take in the 2nd break saying "The Oilers could score 5 they're THAT GOOD", right after Ron was all worked up about Ekholm getting hit by Hubey after Hubey got boarded by Ekholm, thankfully Bieksa was there to talk some sense into Ron. Of course in the first Homer-du-jour Debrusk had to break down Draisaitl elbowing Vladar in the head like it was the Zapruder film to reassure himself that it definitely was NOT goalie interference, riiiiight Lou.

The Flames might not make the playoffs, but Coleman giving 97 the power slam into the ice will be a top moment for me this season.

Oiler don't impress me one bit. That is a team that they are hoping is built for the playoffs, just got thrown off their game by, I am still not sure, their own player running the Flames goalie?

Pachal has been a great find. Solid 5-6 guy that can make a pass, throw a hit and good in his own end. Has even had some offensive flair a few times too.

Is this the first time McHobo has ever gone 10 games without a goal?

I don’t know why but he reminds me of a bigger Ference…before the Oiler stink of course

Watching after hours right now. It feels like this might actually turn into porn. I am pretty sure they are hitting on Paul Coffey.

Well that was fun!! Nerve-wracking for a small bit in the second when the Flames got a bit off their game and stopped skating....but the 4th goal just lit 'em back up and they got the afterburners going. Great to see...everyone engaged and focused...hitting and generally not screwing up much (maybe Andersson the worst player on the Flames tonight for whatever reason, seemed somewhat off). Vlad was outstanding and stood his ground well...didn't get rattled when they scored. Big shout out to the entire team!!

Bodyslam on McJesus is worth more than any assist.

Credit to management for the pickup. You'd expect a 7or 8 D on the deep, deep cup-winning Vegas roster to be a good player.

McDavid is such a princess that “taking a hit to make a play” is something that doesn’t apply to him
