Well it’s no secret that a bunch of hockey players partake in cocaine. It’s a whole other thing taking a video of it and having leaked on line. Not good for PR.

Yeah...it looked like he was sucking on a Duracell battery. I didnt know what that was.
Why would anyone record themselves doing that?

Taking a while to get to 5000

Has he even played a game yet? Wasn't there an immigration issue? This likely creates even more problems than you'd first think.

Maybe that’s why he only shows up a couple times a month
Wasting otherwise a good career

Was just about to post that. Disappointing…but it does help explain his lackluster, inconsistent play. It’s just crazy that he’d post his “party habit” publicly like that. Hopefully he doesn’t have any addiction issues

Bye bye your hockey career. Good riddance. Had the tools to be a special player but never put it together.

Yikes, not a good look if your still trying to crack a full time roster spot.

If his judgment is affected to the point that he is posting stuff like this, I have genuine concerns about his personal wellbeing.
Hopefully these things get addressed for his own good.

if he was a decent player, he could enroll in the player assistance program, get help and possibly return one day. Being a fringe waiver claim, what team/GM would bother? Hope he gets help so it doesn't consume his life. He has likely played his last game in the NHL

It’s cocaine. He didn’t assault someone.
If it’s at the point where he’s sharing videos of him doing it, it’s probably time for the Player’s Assistance Program.

If he rehabs and then actually commits to the game he can probably be a middle six guy but he is going to have to want it.

He's saying the quiet part of hockey culture out loud by posting that video.

He definitely meant to send that as a DM and probably accidentally hit post to story instead

I have no judgement of players partying. But posting it online is nothing but trouble.

Ruzicka has been a lazy, inconsistent player since he was first scouted in his teens. Doubt it has anything to do with cocaine.

Totally. Sleepy player and cocaine don't go hand in hand.
It just illustrates priorities are elsewhere, which is sad given his skillset.
