It feels like something could happen at anytime now and that’s sorta the flames MO too. Really hoping for a Markstrom trade because it would feel like a bonus towards the direction we’ve been hoping for and I think will help expedite the overhaul. We’ll obviously know sooner than later here but I really am excited to see what the return ends up being if Conroy does find a suitable deal in his mind and Markstrom ok’s it. At any rate I don’t think I’ve been this excited about a trade deadline in quite some time.

Markstrom moving for a good return is amazing. Not something I thought possible in September and now I see it also being the best way to climb the reverse standings.

Imagine we end up with 4-5 first round picks this draft, and we move up to 1st to snag Celebrini.
5 first round picks for 1st overall, who says no?
It does depend on who wins the lottery. Teams like Anaheim and Columbus already got Carlsson and Fantilli last year, maybe they would be down. Anyone else and it will be harder for sure
Assuming we get other assets in addition to the 1sts, I think we could round out well with other pieces. Very rarely would we get a chance to move up like this because when else could we have this many 1st rounders?
Am I crazy to think this is possible lol

I think it hurts flames more in terms of leverage as runway runs out. Unless devils looking towards next season in which case why not wait till off season instead of paying tdl premium
