Ugh Milos retires again with some sort of injury after putting together some sublime tennis against Sinner and nearly taking the first set....really have to wonder what's going and if it's even worth it at this point.
One thing is for sure, the level is there and he can certainly bring it against top opponents better than any other Canadian at the moment.

Darn it, Milos was playing quite well (even had two break/set points at 15-40 with Sinner serving at 4-5 in the opening set), lost the opening set in a tie-break and just now forced to retire.

Well, with De Minaur defeating Dimitrov earlier today in Rotterdam, when the official rankings come out on Monday, it will be the first time ever that there are no one-handed backhands in the ATP Top 10.

Jannik Sinner is where I hoped Felix would be - A grand slam champ who takes the court expecting to win every time he takes the court.

Collecting trophies with your B game, that’s how you know you’ve gotten over the hump of becoming a future great.

For the first time I'm questioning who will end their careers with more Grand Slams; Sinner or Alcaraz

Backing Sinner to top Alcaraz IMO. Sinner has great power from both wings (one of the few that can go head to head with the Alcaraz forehand), developed a high rally tolerance and has a high floor. On many days his 2nd gear should be good enough to beat anyone outside the top10. Alcaraz likely will top Sinner in Wimbledon but I doubt that will be the case in the other 3 slams.

Leylah wins her opening match in Dubai in straight sets over Bernarda Pera. She gets Jasmine Paolini next who upset Haddad Maia.

Sinner has two years on Alcaraz which is a big difference IMO. I still would put my money on Alcaraz finishing with more slams but the only thing that would give me pause is injuries.

Sinner in my opinion is Djokovic 2.0, he has the highest level of consistency amongst the young guys on tour. I think his movement is underrated as well, he is not quite as fast as Alcaraz, but he gets to a ton of balls. It should be fun over the next 12 years or so to watch this rivalry.

Disappointing loss for Leylah overnight to Jasmine Paolini in straight sets. Paolini is ranked higher than Leylah currently, it's just my opinion that Leylah is the better player and these are the kind of matches she needs to win to raise her own ranking.

I find Sinner to be a lot more aggressive than Novak, in a good way. Where Novak is more willing to just gut out a point, Sinner seems more adapt in finding open court with a drop or painting a line sensibly should the opportunity arise.

Agreed, Sinner knows he has the power off both wings to end the point when he sees the opportunity. He also has the shot tolerance and patience to hang in a point when he's on the defensive. For a guy who didn't really start taking tennis seriously until he turned 12, it's pretty impressive.

Very disappointing.
Lose 5 straight after being up 3 - 1 in set 1.
Lose 5 straight after being up 4 - 1 in set 2.

Andy Murray loses a tough three-setter to young Czech kid Jakub Menšík (18 years old) in Doha. Andy came back from a 5-2 deficit in set 3 only to lose in the breaker.

After Rune's recent results it must have been sobering for him to have to ask for his help again.
