Great game to be my son's first ever NHL game. Bonus being Sportsnet panned to him celebrating after one of the Flames goals too!

Missed the game. Looks like it was a wild one. Honestly can’t be mad at the Monny hatty. Good for him. Today’s W dance video is featuring my mom and my cousin. Enjoy the silliness:

Great comeback win, and good for Monahan who must feel good to score a hatty against the Flames.

Let's see how the Jets enjoy playoff Monahan...

Tied for 60th in even stength scoring in a 32 team league. Each team on average has about 2 forwards who are as good as him or better at getting points at even strength. Great player having another solid year.

Honestly though, I am somewhat impressed that this team has been hanging in there this season, for the most part. I thought there would be a bigger step back this season.

I was on the rebuild wagon for a while and not a big believer in the retooling strategy, but now I am thinking retooling is the best way to go. There are a lot of good pieces here. I am coming around to Huberdeau now as well.

I wish my wife got is tickets for this game rather than Detroit. Way more fun and some actual goals to celebrate.Team shouldn't be let off the hook though, that was an embarrassing effort last game.

The Sharks haven't been quite as bad as their record suggests. Remember, they started the season 0-10-1. Since then they've gone 15-25-4 for a .386 points percentage – still quite bad, but not a total pushover.

Generally speaking, the worst teams will win about a third of their games, the best teams will lose about a third, and you can never tell which games they will be.

Ugh, I know. Its just amazing how flat this team can come out sometimes and then put on displays like this.

"Well...thanks for coming guys!"
