18 points in his last 20 games.

Still not good enough, but hey...it ain't bad.

Oh I agree. But he'll still be a whipping boy for a chunk of the fanbase unless he returns to a 115 point player.

Huberdeau needs to turn into a 85-90 point player for me to be okay with his contract.

If he can finish the season out at PPG the rest of the way, it is a great start.

Lundell is a very calgary player. In the mould of titov, Conroy, langkow and lindholm.

Defensively responsible player that gets played too high in the lineup for the team to actually find success?

I've been pushing Lundell since last season. He looks like the kind of player that could thrive with more ice-time and responsibility.

This sounds like a Backlund type tweener player who is very good. But we still would be chasing a guy to push him down the lineup.

It’s ironic that Kadri came here to be that player and our team cratered.

We need to go big and swing for some home runs. Like we are with these defensive prospects.

I think Lundell can become a 60-70 point second line player. One of the best in the league. Just needs an opportunity.

Having a lundell in the lineup allows you to take some really big high risk swings at the draft for a center.

I wonder if losing Gaudreau and Tkachuk had anything to do with that.

Kadri has been one of the best players on the team since coming in, excluding a stretch of games near the end of last season.

Tkachuk for sure.

Still was a decent roster.

Anyways that team wasn’t built to win. You win with home grown talent and we lost 3 of them in succession.

Now we have a chance to get this right and build the right way.

Look at how he played for last three games before this. He didn't really deserve a ton of praise.

Huberdeau gets a ton of kudos when he makes a nice pass. Seems fair to criticize his softer efforts as well. To be better than .500, Flames need Huberdeau to show up for more than half the games.

Do we need to bash Huberdeau here as well?
