lol come on now; sec is clearly plugged in to the team and lucky us that he’s willing to be as open about it as he has. Biggest quote from Sec was his quote about how we finally have a GM who loves this team and city as much as the fans do and ‘gets it.’ Sec has gone as far to say he’ll stop posting as an insider if Markstrom is still with the team be the start of next season which he doesn’t have to do, he’s obviously quite confident in his sources and it has me super excited. Enjoy it!

There seems to be more buzz about the Leafs getting Parayko for their 1st and Niemela than there is about a Hanifin deal. It would make more sense for the Leafs. It’s a higher price, but Parayko is signed through 2030.

Was wondering about Parayko as well. His counting stats seem to be pretty consistent. Same with games played. I do think his reputation has taken a hit, maybe because he doesn't produce much in the way of goals/assists? Either way, I don't see how the leafs can fit him in under the cap without similar money coming back.

I don't understand why some posters get so upset with Sec and Diss and others. None of them have ever claimed to be 100% correct. They're simply passing along information they hear from their network. I don't know, maybe the readers that get upset get super excited and hyped over what they read and then if it doesn't pan out, they get emotional? Seems... interesting.
