It's actually pretty remarkable the difference he makes. I think others have good host potential (like Wood Jr. or Kal Penn) but Jon just has this perfect combo of earnestness and timing that makes him so good and coming across as more neutral and genuine than most actual news hosts. Like, can we talk about this like humans for a moment? His return was great all the way through.

Jon Stewart being hilarious and on point as usual when it comes to US politics, but no doubt many who were fans of his before are going to flip now that he is critical about the Dems.

I don't think the Trump can't win narrative was helpful either...so many people didn't bother voting. That being said she got 3M more votes...what a system lol
O'Toole got more votes than Trudeau.

Hillary Clinton was flawed in being a Clinton. A nation of almost 400 million people and the best candidate you can find is a former president's wife? And this is shortly after the unqualified son of a former president won two terms? It demonstrates that America has become no more than the world's most powerful banana republic, or perhaps the world's most dangerous reality show.
Unfair. Her resume is very impressive on its own merits.

I would have never thought someone from Sylvan Lake, so close to where I grew up on a cattle ranch in Clearwater County west of Caroline, would be so unwelcoming.

Haha Sylvan kicked him out, dude. He's back in Calgary and we're thinking of shipping him off, too.

It's worth watching the whole piece, not just the last 1/2
I wasn't expecting his return to be as good as it was. It's like what it might have been like if the Beatles got back together. Expectations would be so high that one is bound to be disappointed. But Stewart really nailed it.

Yup. Funny thing is he's saying what some have said in this thread - both choices are bad and both choices are so old they're losing it.

I agree, but one choice is clearly better than the other. Trump is a traitor to democracy with the appeal of a cockroach and the intelligence of an old toaster. Eventually, he's going to malfunction and burn down the house. Biden is more like a Roomba. He may get lost and run into a wall every now and then, but he's not going to do any serious damage.

Yeah. I mean what's the harm in ending American democracy, consoildating the powers of the federal government into the White House, and letting a Hitler wannabe be president for the rest of his life? Silly libs getting worked up about petty little things.

"Oh look, Biden said something about cookies, therefore he's losing his mind and we should all be super worried about his cognitive function"
Usually I love Jon and his takes, but he's way off the mark on this one.
That’s what you took away from that? I thought it was pretty obviously making fun of him for making a lame, and frankly awkward, tik tok video. Which it was.

Speaking of Jon Stewart, his old nemesis at Fox, Chris Wallace, has gone from antagonist to protagonist. He absolutely rips Tucker Carlson, saying he's an embarrassment to useful idiots.

In fairness, he's Mathgod, not "understanding political satire and commentary"-god.
