The Flames could end up turning Toffoli/Zadorov/Lindholm/Tanev/Hanifin/Markstrom into:

- Sharangovich (potentially 30 goals)
- Kuzmenko (potentially 0.8+ PPG)
- Suniev (elite shot with middle 6+ potential - amazing freshman NCAA season)
- Brzustewicz (top 4 potential/1PP QB potential - we all know his OHL stats)
- Jurmo (5-7 D potential)
- 1st round pick
- conditional 4th round pick
- 3rd round pick
- 5th round pick

^ lol that's just Toffoli/Zadorov/Lindholm.

Theeeeeeen for the final 3, you're potentially looking at:

- 3 more 1st round picks
- a couple more mid/lower round picks
- a couple roster players in the Sharangovich/Kuzmenko realm that could flourish here and be part of the team moving forward or turned into more assets down the line
- a good young roster player (Mercer I wish, but perhaps the Holtz realm).

If we can turn markstrom into Mercer, it makes our future team so much better. Wolf deserves a long uninterrupted ramp up into the league and giving him the net alone improves the future of the team imo.

Good chance they go for it this year and potentially have mediocre seasons next year making the pick better.

Especially dealing with Canadian team. Vancouver 2025 1st is probably going to be higher just with the way they go up and down season to season.

I think it's generally good practice to spread them out a little if you can. Otherwise, you run the risk of having to find quality ice-time for them during development or having a bunch of guys coming off their ELCs at the same time and needing big raises. Plus, if some prospects see a logjam, they might be apprehensive to sign.
