What Conroy did with Fitz, I've done many times on Facebook Marketplace selling furniture to people lol... 'great offer, gonna check around and see if anyone can beat it". Usually always works, someone more desperate gives you slightly better.

Can’t see Markstrom staying a Flame at this point.
Also curious who is leaking such specific details. It’s not the agent it seems. Per Friedman’s first report, Markstrom hadn’t been approached yet.

Calgary has a conditional 1st offer from a Western Conference team for Tanev, I’ve heard Conroy can get that to a first. He has as many as 8 teams interested.

Trading Markstrom is the right move for the franchise so hopefully they can get it to work. It can’t be easy but it’s heartening to hear the strategic direction matches what I personally believe they need to do.
