It's a little out of the ordinary but the off-ice officials in Toronto have taken over the determination of the suspension in this instance instead of DoPS.

Should have been 6 based on the Perron precident...but all the "Leafs are targeted", "player safety hates us", "what about the code" BS actually works to drop it down a game.
