A. It was a linesman, not a ref, so if it was a retaliation for a non-call it makes no sense.
B. I always thought he looked dazed and his hands went up in reflex, like when you aren't paying attention and walk into a door or pole.

You keep saying ref and you mentioned him being mad at a call...it was a linesman for crying out loud. Wideman and the linesman had a good chuckle about it too at the first TV time out. Source? I was there. He also dropped the puck 30 seconds later and finished the game.

When did he ever say he hit the guy that didnt make the call. He couldve easily been mad in general. Its like when McDavid pissed off Gourde and then Gourde buried ekholm from behind. So relax Dino

Well yeah, he was also about to be laid off for poor performance. He never even left the ice.

Doctors, legal system, arbitrator, all sided with Wideman...poor guy, basically ended his career anyway thanks to the media and 3 second slow mo clips.

On Sunday, they scheduled the meeting for Tuesday, even though the hearing is not actually "in person." (It's still considered an "in-person" meeting, but they are doing it virtually.)

So, in spite of zero travel requirements, they still scheduled this thing to take place 3 days after the incident did. Am I crazy, or is stuff like this typically wrapped up the next day (or the day after, in case of travel requirements)?
