I hate the edmonton option most, but if you were trying to sell Marky on an option that doesn't require him to move far at all from the new child, that might be the best case scenario. And connor is a draw for some players. Personally I don't think he would put them over the top and would risk it if we could get Holloway and Broberg.

I don't even think these two are very good trade chips any more.

Trading marky for two picks from edmonton's suspect scouting/development system whos development has probably been stunted over key developmental years at the risk of marky carrying them a couple rounds?

I'd take the equivalent trade with NJ every day of the week.

Alan Caldwell ended up becoming one of the most knowledgeable WHL writers I've known. Learned a ton about the league from reading his stuff. He still does his draft pick/roster trackers every year. Amazing resource for folks following that league.

Yikes.. I'd much rather just keep Markstrom... I wouldn't even consider that trade.

Nope not at all and when you call him out he resorts to PM's telling you to leave him alone while trashing your character.
