Classic Spector, reporting with his heart instead of his head. Even if there were some truth to the words (there isn't - what the Flames are doing right now is bonding as a group), Spector as a member of the Oilers.media, just comes across as petty, and a childish fan.
I couldn't have less respect for that petty little man.
Stauffer is no better. He was on with Saravalli saying how bad the trade with Vancouver was, at least Saravalli had the balls to disagree with him...twice!
Not worried about the murky middle. Conroy has been clear that valuable free agents won't be leaving for nothing. They either re-sign or will get traded, and the chips will fall where they may. I am confident that he will stay the course.
Yes, Conroy has a plan. Like any GM he went to the ownership and presented it and they signed off but as per usual they have allowed the GM to implement their plan. I have faith in Conroy, he has done exactly what he said he would do on day one.

Edmonton media is no good.
One of these days I expect that throbbing eye of his to just blow up and leave behind a reached organic mess that I'll be able to smell thru my T.V.

Stauffer is not media
He is literally paid by the oilers and they buy the airtime for his show
He is literally an infomercial

That was a plot point on an episode of House.
I'm still mildly traumatized.
