I couldn't have less respect for that petty little man.
Stauffer is no better. He was on with Saravalli saying how bad the trade with Vancouver was, at least Saravalli had the balls to disagree with him...twice!
Edmonton media is no good.

We got the Vezina thing going for Marky, seems fitting for the NHLs leading scorer on D to get into the Norris convo.
As good as Weegar has been playing, the Norris is mostly locked up as a victory for Quinn Hughes at this point.

Yes, Conroy has a plan. Like any GM he went to the ownership and presented it and they signed off but as per usual they have allowed the GM to implement their plan. I have faith in Conroy, he has done exactly what he said he would do on day one.

Could you imagine?
Coleman: Selke
Markstrom: Vezina
Weegar: Norris
Calgary Flames: Missed Playoffs.

Sorry, had to remind myself you were talking about Patrick Roy. The only thing I could think of for a few minutes was this...

Sure. But that's one nominee. Even getting nominated is a good acknowledgement.

Finally caught up and watched the game. Weegar is a beauty. Glad he will be around for a while.
Fun game. Sell the UFAs and keep rolling.

One of these days I expect that throbbing eye of his to just blow up and leave behind a reached organic mess that I'll be able to smell thru my T.V.

Stauffer is not media
He is literally paid by the oilers and they buy the airtime for his show
He is literally an infomercial
Spector is “media” if you can call him that

That was a plot point on an episode of
House.
I'm still mildly traumatized.

Flames win. Canucks lose. Oilers lose.
That is what I call a perfect night.

Everyone is nominated, in that everyone is eligible to get votes.
The top three are announced as nominees, but its really a misnomer, as it’s simply the 3 highest vote getters, as the voting has already taken place.

Calgary winning 3 tough road games in a row after the Lindholm trade is truly remarkable.
If Markstrom can take them to the playoffs, why shouldn’t he deserve to win the Venzina, and maybe MVP also?
